Now correct me if i'm wrong but the changes you talk about will cost 3200.00$ US ? that 5000 loonies , quite a big check... you have any idea how much improvement on the gaz mileage you will get from this?

Thanks for the "left handed" compliment.

Here is the correction ( in US Dollars):

$750 for ONLY the fuel controller, with harness, install kit, fuel maps.

$1,000 US for this PLUS the ignition controller.

$1,500 for this mapped on a more advanced fuel/ignition controller computer ( in-car, dashmount style) with multi-map capability, preloaded with stock and tuned fuel/air and ignition maps.
The tuned maps will include stock, tuned for NA and tuned for supercharger.

So, IF one bought the advance map devices AND a supercharger you could end up as high as around $4,000

These figures are preliminary and may change.
At this point we know our costs for the fuel mapper and related, and i am estimating for the ignition, computer and supercharger.

I have mainly said a lot of the figures to guage interest among the readers.

I had to do so before going too much further.

For most the fuel ampping will be the best solution, as it returns the car to slightly better than the original power output of the JSpec model.
The ignition mapping adds "icing to the cake" with another 10-12 hp.
At a certain point if using both it may be necessary to install exhaust components. There is a distinct possibility that with both fuel and ignition the exhaust temperatures may be too high for the stock catalytic converters to survive.
The alternatives then would be using larger high performance cats, such as the Vibrant Tech units, or running with no cat.

I want to make it absolutely clear that if one does all this and using a supercharger there is likely no way on earth to keep it emissions legal, and would be sold for "Use in competition and track applications - not for road use"

This is now all clear i hope!
