oo... but you got home alright though eh? Are you running the dunlops or bridgestones?
hmm and from the looks of the highlander in the background it looked like it was snowing quite a bit too!
Yea, I was worried about that cooling thing with my air dam, so where does the engine get all the air from? Is it behind one of the wheels in the wheelwells?
Actually I should've taken a picture... on the way down from the mountain my temp started going all the way down to cold again when I was cruising downhill in 6th!

In Calgary we've been fortunate to NOT have snow yet. It's December and it's plus 3 .. AMAZING! I remember times when we had snow in Sept and also snow in May!!! That's one advantage of global warming I guess.
Nice pics Rotary Titus. do you park your car out doors?

The car handled just fine, with my (ugly) 17" winter wheels and Toyo tires. The DSC/TC light did a lot of flashing, though, but keeping the car in control was easy.
The biggest RX-8-related problem I had yesterday had to do with my tears on the leather as I heard and felt the boulders on the road hitting my car after being kicked up by the cars in front. *sniff*

it did pretty good, actually the road I was on was sanded so there wasn't any problems at all going up hill.
so how about it Enzolor and others who got the snow tires mounted? next meet, cruise up s2s in the snowscape?

Those are sweet pix, especially the panoramic! WOW. Was it from a digital cam?? How did the blizzaks perform on the wet pavement? Any skidding?
Would love to do a cruise and test out my Toyo's, probably after the holidays? I haven't put them on yet anyway.
How far did you make it... and what was the turnaround time? Just curious =)
