pricing on the 2005 models?
hi, just wondering if anyone's gotten wind of the 2005 MSRP?
will it be going up?
just trying to decide if i want to wait for a 2004 or wait for the 2005s to come out.
Thanks.

Probably an increase of $500, that seems to be the norm, it would be VERY odd if they skyrocketed the price.
Pete, I might have a surprise for you...... sometime next week or so.

One note:
The cars being sold until July of 2004 are still 2004 model year.
The 2005's will not be here until next summer.
As for price, the main factor I can think of will be the exchange rate between the dollar and the Yen.
In the USA the price is almost guaranteed to rise.
That is because the U.S. Dollar has fallen
Today 1,000 Yen buys $9.18 U.S. Dollars.
It also buys 12.0483 Canadian dollars
Back in July the same number of Yen bought $8.37 U.S. and it bought $11.30 Canadian.
So, compared to Yen the US buck has dropped 10%.
The Canadian Dollar has dropped 6%
I expect that Mazda will adjust the price to match these, assuming the rates stay similar.
