Racing Beat exhaust

Hello everyone
I just got my RX-8 a month ago and I'm enjoying it. Mind you, when I can take it over 4500 rpm I'll enjoy it more. 2800 km now.
Does anyone have the Racing Beat exhaust on their car in the GTA that can give me any feedback?

I have the RB cat-back and CAI w/duct. They are both great products. The tone of the exhaust is deep and bassy, not raspy like some other sound. You won't be disappointed with it.

You should try searching it because you will see that there are not only sound clips of the RB Exhuast but videos also!

Here is the Greddy

Thanks I had heard that clip already. Was hoping to find one that was more drive than a drag.
I'll admit it sounds great.
I just got back from Laguna Hills CA. On Sunday morning I was a couple of cars behind a Blue RX-8 that sounded sooo sweet. Tried to catch him in my rental but got caught up in traffic lights. Was going to ask, who's system?
The sound level was similar to a G-35 coupe at normal speeds then thats what I'm looking for.

Doesn't sound like a RB Exhuast to me because whne on low RPM's it sounds stockish

I would say it is a B&B, Greddy, or a Borla Exhuast.

have the rb exhaust and RP supercat....love it....perfect sound when you punch it.

a little off topic but those that have the rb intake and duct living in Canada...doesn't the front plate cover the opening for the duct?

The RB duct doesn't actually come out in the big grille opening where the license plate is. After install I noticed that it sits at the lower edge of the bumper. The last painted portion underneath the black grille. It sits behind the lip so as to be proctected from rocks and bugs getting in there.

Look at the front of a stock RX8 it looks exactly the same. The duct is hidden behind the lower valance so you can't see it.

Don't be conned by the term "Ram Air Duct" into thinking the RB duct will be something like the integra's with air filters coming out through one headlight. This is a luxury car.

Thanks for the info.
Haven't decided yet but I am leaning toward the RB system.
Checked out the K&N Typhoon also. K&N website claims 10hp at 8500. Wow
Have to consider this

K&N is said to lose power... the Rx8 comes stock with a CAI, and a great exhaust.. everything about the car is damn near perfect for preformance Wise.... without FI you wont find a huge power gain.. well.. not yet.. not untill the 8 gets more publicity, im hoping it does well in the fast and the furious 3.. more aftermarket products would be nice....oh well... anyone actaully dynoed theres without and with the k and N /borla exhaust?

Yeah ! I did it my K&N typhoon on (as many of you were there) but now
I am dying to it with my new addition (a Catback Borla exhaust)
And YES !!! It's make a big difference (adding Air filter and exhaust) VS stock RX8, Take my word for it !! Right HELAS, NEO and HELLBREED ???
