Raquel will be in Montreal/Quebec 11-15
Raquel will be on a field trip next week/weekend in Montreal and outlying regions.
For our Montreal members, might it be possible to set up a mini meet next Thursday evening May 12th somewhere in Montreal?

Helas...can't make the Ottawa meet as the Victoria Day weekend will be the 10th anniversary of my fathers passing. I will be spending most of it with my mom.
However, on the Montreal meet front, i believe that I might have one participant so far, a gentleman from work here in Montreal who drives a black GT AT.
Still looking for other Montrealers! Let's meet!

Of course Raquel trusts 8's with any plates (except of course the incorrigable flirts who shall remain nameless)
Still looking for 8's in Montreal for Thursday evening
Raquel and I will be on the road tomorrow night, so if you see a red hot 8 eastbound on the 401, it's probably us (with tunes at 30!

Road Trip Report.........
just arrived in montreal. What fun that was. Raquel's first road trip and she handles like a dream (but you all knew that all ready) Not too sure about the roads here though. Yikes.
what was surprising is the amount of stuff we crammed into her - set of golf clubs, two sleeping bags + pillows, two rolling suitcases, two duffel bags, two large towels, two fishing rods and the list goes on. We could easily have fit another passenger in the back seat.
Looks like there is no interest in a Thursday night mini meet (boo hoo).
Oh well, never let it be said, I didn't at least ask.

If anyone from the Montreal region catches this, we will be in St Hyacinthe near the MacDonalds. (this a a courtesy to me as apparently it is a location that will be easy to find - no reflection on Mat's culinary tastes whatsoever!)

Back from the meet. Mic, Helas - do not pick on my new friend Mat...he is a gentleman through and through, and a wonderful dinner companion!
He definately is an asset to our club and will try to make the Ottawa meet. (his 8 is sweet too!)

i really appreciate
, but i'm not as good as Mic, i forgot to bring you a ROSE. I'll try to do better next meet. And also thank you for the mini meet, my first rx8 meet. It was great and really interresting. Not a lot of 8, but we catch attention of some people, And you wanted to see what my old car look like,the Corrado, so i attached a picture of my old baby!
