ON Replacement Battery for Trunk

Need a new battery for trunk relocation. Was told to put in the kinetic gel cell, but i was wondering if spiral grid battery would work for my application. It has 770 cold cranking amps. As of right now I have no extra subs or amps and the car is mostly stock. Please let me know what would work and if I need to have a vent

I would think any good gel battery would do. Make sure it's one that states it is fine without venting

have you tried a boating supply store. Lots of marine applications call for enclosed spaces

-To avoid temperature extremes under the hood, which shortens battery life.
-Weight distribution.

Barille B2015 15lb racing battery. Works great unless the car sits for extended periods of time. I use a smart charger with a quick disconnect.

I like the Odyssey 925MJT: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ODY-PC925MJT/
Not too big, not too small, juuuust right! For trunk mounting you could probably go with the straight 925 which is without the heat shield.

no, i dont feel any difference in how the car starts. I relocated and upgraded the battery for two reasons:

1. All of my stereo components have been upgraded and the old battery wasnt cutting it. If I took the volume to 20 the lights would start to dim. With the new battery that's no longer a problem.

2. I plan on going FI (at some point) and getting the battery out of the way gives you more room under the hood.

Plus it creates better air flow through the radiator and across the engine. I have pics of my relocation in my profile.

All you American guys can get these good batteries but if I pick one up from the states I would not have warranty.

Well I'll have to give Marken Performance a call that's not too far from me thanks for that. I've looked quite a bit on google with not much luck. I have tried using the optima site with no success
