Sorry for the ignorant question Jay but why in a nutshell does premix make sense? What does it do for the car? What are the benefits?

Hey prospectjtaz, sorry I couldn't make it bro as I just got your post now. I had soccer after work and I had some work to do at home after. What about tomorrow night for a bit, I can meet up after the gym? Or let me know when you guys meet up again. That Timmies location you mentioned is awesome cuz it's close to my house.

God bless.

Ben.

ur engine already uses a bit of oil from ur oil pan to lub the apex seals in the engine, the apex seals not being lubed is one of the reasons the engne fails. With the newest update/recall in teh states, now on its way in canada, about the flash to the pcm for more injections to be pushed by the omp basically pushed me into the decision to now premix. Spending an extra 9 bucks for every 4 tanks for peice of mind is no hassle on my part.

ok, makes sense. How did you know which premix to use and where can you get it?

theres lots of them, but the idemitsu clearly states premix for rotaries, you use 8 ozs for each ful tank, one bottle has 32, enough for 4 tanks.

some guys are using just 2 stroke oil as premix, it just can have a particular additive for marine engines since thats bad for our engines. but idemitsu is locally carried in mississauga, and im usually out there during the summer, i might get a another bottle next week when i picked up my diff oil, and possibly buy a case in sept.

Street Performance in Mississauga sells Idemitsu.

I premix 8oz every full tank of gas. I also feed my OMP with the same oil.
