I am The One!
Detailing a car takes alot of time.
I don't trust anyone with my car so I end up doing all the detailing myself.
Takes the better part of a day to make her really shine.
I'm going to be in the Sauga area, but I won't be able to meet up.
Hopefully we'll get to see everyone this weekend at the track.

You guys are weird. It's unlikely that you'll be able to do as good a job as a pro. If I had a few hundred to spend on it, I'd be all over having my car detailed.
I have a couple scratches I'd like to have wet sanded. Mmmm...
Jay, enjoy sitting at Tim Hortons by yourself. :P

qtwre,
A couple of hundered dollars isn't going to give you a very good job. It'll be as much as you can do on your own.
If you really want that puppy to be glass smooth, no swirl marks, no colour fade, be blinding to view, then you're going to need to spend thousands!!
At that range, you might as well ask for a new paint job! lol
Or if you're really **** about getting your car clean, you can contact that British dude, Paul, who does all the high end detailing.
Otherwise, I'm with Footman. I prefer to do it myself and know that it was done as best as it could without replacing the whole damn thing! lol
Leesha,
Your car is always looking good. You do it yourself or do you take it to a detailing shop?

I pay 450 dollars for a basic clay bar / wash and polish.
this also includes interior cleaning and window re-finishing. I do not do this very often though. Once every 12-18 months only.
Otherwise i love cleaning my car as well.
