lol.. hehe, drunk/hungover.. after a heavy night of drinking i definitley notice my iq degrades about 30 points..

let me know how it works out. I'm looking at getting this short shifter for sure. Also have you ever driven an S2000? If so let me know how it is compared to that (which i think is really really short)

Guys heres a link to the short shifter install instructions ,created by Gomez our downunder resident shifty bastard

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-rp-afe-short-shifter-install-53914/

The short shifter is as precise as that of the honda S2000 by far one of the best moods around :D great value as well .

The instructions weren't what i was looking for, just more curious about other people in canada, more specifically in calgary, who have them.

I've had one since the first batch. It is great..easy install, and definitely makes the shifter feel more precise. I was at a PDE and the instructors all thought it was an improvement over the stock shifter in the other RX-8 at the event

I put one in too, and it was not hard to do. I like the feel of the new one quite a bit better.

Definatly on my list. Canzoomer seems to carry them as well, although they certainly arn't cheap. I'm unsure if you even save anything by ordering from them instead of from RP directly..I wonder if they get them on a per-order basis?

If it's similar price I'd much rather buy it direct. The more money into RP's pocket, the better. Always glad to support people that take the plunge and produce high-quality model specific parts without the aid of widespread advertising or automated assembly lines.
