Has anyone used the RP supercat for a while?

Thanks in advance

Hey Dark,
I'm in the hunt for a better exhaust setup as well, I don't like sitting at where I'm at on my car, I think the cat and stock exhaust is killing it. Saw corksport makes a race pipe with high flow cat.
There's apparently a shop in hick town called Burford that does custom exhausts, I have to bring my car in to see if they can do a custom job for me taking 3 inch all the way from header or cat.. I'll keep you posted.

Maybe use this cat??

You can source the stainless flanges on line...
Maybe we can cooperate to get some Cat mid-pipes made...

All cats are going to fail especially if you track your car. If your not worried about emissions pick up a metal core cat from Davesport in Washington state or one from Vibrant out of Mississauga (JRP carries them). Then just have a mechanic weld it in and keep your good cat for when you need to pass emissions as I doubt either of these two would.
Both have sizes that will fit a 3" exhaust and they are both small, about 5''x6".

Yeah, I just passed drive clean (2 years) but my cat is costing me power over 7K; it's starting to melt...
I don't want the catless experience; I've smelled rotaries... my neighbors will throw me out!
I can still use my cat to get me through drive-clean testing...

Has anyone used one of these?

I am The One!
Straight pipes!!! That's the only way to take advantage of your rotary vehicle!
You can add a muffler to surpress the noise if you don't like it. But getting rid of emissions altogether is the best solution.

I only had my RP Superkat on for two summers and I failed the etest with it, Warren.
I wouldn't recommend one if you're thinking it will pass an etest .... better off finding a used Cat ....
However it did surpress the nasty (beautiful) unburnt hydrocarbon smell ....mmmmmmmmm I likie ...
PS: **** the neighbours ....

Mmmmm I might be able to work out something for you DB ....
I gave my RP Superkat away to a guy in town ... dunno if he is still using it...
I'll find out ...
Or you can put on my OEM Cat and see what happens .... or .... we can drink some beer and take off my current RP racepipe and install it on your machine.....
I'm in San Fran right now sooo it will have to wait till next week....

ouch! holy crap... yeah, curious to see what it could be on this car. I had a same feeling on mine, and I'm waiting for the custom exhaust from Mangok (it's better this way, $600 US for the setup) to see if mine can breathe better.

Yeah, we'll figure it out one evening at a time...
On the plus side, we had a good meet, I got a lot of stuff done that needed doing and may car is running really well for the most part.
Oh, and it sounds good and smells really bad right now!

So now while we're working on the SSVs we're also going to weld a Davesport cat into the broken SR cat midpipe and have some fun with that...
On a side note: Holy ****! My car stinks! I can't wait to get a cat back on my car.
