RX-8 seats

So, for the past 4 months I've searched high and low for a pair of front cloth RX-8 seats with absolutely no luck. Anybody know where I can get my hands on a pair? Preferably in Ontario but I suppose anywhere on this side of the border would be better than paying 500$ to ship them from the states.

Thanks!

Regarding resale & looks:
Leather > Cloth

Regarding comfort & longevity:
Leather <<<<< Cloth

at least, that's my experience. I've considered swapping out my leather interior for a cloth one on-&-off from the very first day of ownership.

comfort is a subjective thing, but you can make leather seats last just as long as cloth seats... you just have to condition it with a GOOD leather conditioner regularly. The only reason I would swap out my leather seat is the weight savings... especially the power driver seat.

Forget about it. 99% of RX-8 sold here have leather seats. I can honestly say I have never seen a cloth RX-8 here.

I guess the reason also why he's looking for clothes seats are cuz they're not power seats so he can modify them to put them on his RX7

Original 10th AE dead cows are my 2nd choice, I'd still rather throw in a pair of cloth RX-8 seats. There were some gay bright red buckets in there before, so I threw in a pair of blue cloths until I get my hands on those RX-8s seats.

It just doesn't look right. lol.

Mine! Does the USA count as "here"?
Very happy with the cloth especially on autocross days!

How many others with cool and light seats?

I would recommend you go for a ride on an RX8 passenger seat before buying.Just got back from 11,000km trip and my wife says her seat(passenger) was much less comfortable than our 88TII seat. The power driver's seat is great.

I don't plan on putting on 11,000kms in 2 years let alone a single trip, lol.

And for some reason, my back aches in all 3 FCs that I've had even after going for a short 5-10 minute ride (N) lol

Besides, I don't care about passengers. lol
