just wanted to say what's up to the guy who stopped me at dixie/orenda on saturday in brampton and told me about the rx club of ontario/bruce county drive(he was driving a f150 truck). I would have come and checked out your rx7 for sure but I was on my way to wasaga!

I'm going to try and do this drive but my next few weekends are a little chaotic

That was Renegade07 from the 7club site. He was helping me out at his machine shop when he drove to get some lunch and ran into you. He mentioned it to me when he got back.

couple of questions
I'm phoning today about hotel reservation . Lawer Spirit the price you listed, is that a special rate ?
Can I get tickets for admission and upgrade once I figure out what I'm doing there, I realize it will not be at the club rate.

It turns out that I will not be able to make it after all. I am going on a Last Miniute trip. Hope you all enjoy yourselves, have fun and stay safe.

You can upgrade when we get there as long as they are not at capacity for an activity, but I doubt that will happen considering the we will be there when the gates open at 10am.

And the Hillside is more a motel not a hotel, I don't want your better half to go into shock. (Disclaimer )

GTA meeting point is car pool at Hwy 400 & Major Mackenzie. It is on the South side just west of the 400.

We will leave there at 10AM sharp.

We will be in Orangeville by 10:45AM (We will stop in the first large parking lot on the North Side of hwy 9 west of Hwy 10.)

And then in Authur by 11:15AM to meet the Westenders.(Tim Hortons @ Hwy 6 & 9)

Westenders meeting point is Sports World in Kitchener/Waterloo

If any one is making their own way there and would like to meet our convoy just drop a PM to Lawyer's Spirit today detailing where you will be and we will try to wait for you.

Thumbs up Great get together

Great get together over the weekend , a bit wet on the Saturday until we got moving . Thanks go out to the RX7 guy’s and girl for making my wife and I feel welcome. I’d particularly like to thank Bass for the hospitality of your haunted house for the BBQ and to Joe for not losing us:D . The Sunday run to Grand Bend for the SCSC meet looked a bit ominous for rain but it held off very well . Kevin I hope your later runs were more to your liking. I had a blast trying the autocross , I look forward to trying again. Lawyer Sprit thanks for your part in the organization for this , I hope your car running again soon. Once again it was great to meet all you guy’s I hope more 8’s will show for future meets . Lawyer Spirit please relay this onto the RX7 guy’s for me , Thanks

Good to see you and Doris had a good time, I actually said screw doing another run it was too hot to be standing around in pants, needed to get back in shorts, i'm done drag racing for this year i need to do traction and suspension mods. hope to see you guys at future meets, and hey you weren't the only 8 there, there was the silver one at the beach and the yellow one at cscs (yella) here on the forum.

I had a blast despite needing a tow truck.

Thanks to Brian for being so hospitable. (your neighbours will recover)

Thanks to Charr33 for saving me a couple of hundred bucks, I'll pay you back in beers at D&B.

Thanks to Chris @ CSCS for setting us up.

Thanks to who ever controls the weather for making Sunday a beautiful dry day in Grand Bend.

It was great seeing the RXs on the track autocrossing, entered in show & shines and dragging, all at the same time. (but still way too many hondas)

And we even had a piston head coin a new derogatory term for rotaries. He called them 'baloney slicers'.

Looking forward to the Meeting of the Mazdas on Aug. 13th.

Hopefully we'll see some more 8s in the future.
