I have a Compustar Pro series on mine, its a 2 way remote, pager style. So for example, when I hit lock, the car locks, confirms the lock, and resends me a confirmation of being locked with the lcd display on the remote.
It's also got a 2 KM range, programmable with addition modules, like windows down, sunroof down, and so forth.
Cause I hate people parking beside me, I also added a proximity sensor. This sets up two zones, a trigger and an alarm zone. So when people walk by the car, it chirps at them, and when they touch the car, or peek inside the car it goes off.
It also does real time monitoring of the temp, bat voltage, remote voltage.
I also added a backup siren that can only be turned off using a key, cutting the battery doesn't do anything. There's also a high decibel siren inside the car near the fuse box that goes off, so trying to go for the fuses can be very challenging.
There's just too much that this alarm does, but you can check it out on the compustar website.
