As fun as that cruise was back then I won't do another one. It's too easy of an excuse for cops these days to hit you with street racing when a bunch of cars are out cruising. It only takes one or two morons to drive like maniacs or do something dumb, and/or for a cop to be in a mood to nail someone. Also, I've only been on one cruise with this club and a few 8's traded paint due to following to closely on crappy condition public roads. Not for me thanks.

I've always liked the RX8, I used to go for rides in my cousin's 04 rx8, and his experience unfortunately turned me away from the rx-8's for a while, until I heard that they fixed a few things with the new series, so here I am!
Ps. Does anyone know how much mazda will charge for a compression test?

No. Whitby Mazda not only performed the compression test wrong on my car, they also performed it wrong on Phil's car. Then when questioned about it they couldn't answer any and didn't understand the problem. And to top it off even though they knew they fucked up I had to fight to get a refund and the GM didn't even have to courtesy to call me back after he gave me his word he would.
Beyond that they fucked up replacing my.clutch pedal bracket and left me stranded and showed no remorse for it at all.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Whitby Mazda for service. I don't even trust those ***** to wash my car.

I bought my 2006 3 years ago from Ajax Mazda, only because it was in good shape and had low k on it (30k). Was a bit out of my way, I live in Burlington.
I had a HORRIBLE experience there. I love the car still and in the end it all worked out, but only because I pushed for weeks. Long story short, I never went back . PM if you want any more specifics.

Bad service experience with Ajax Mazda. Brought my car in for service, they made me sit for four hours before telling me they wouldn't get to my car that day and I had to leave it there overnight.
When I got it back, a week I discovered they had put my rear sway bar on upside down and it shattered my endlinks. Of course, they refused to accept blame.
Terrible dealer, terrible technicians.

For me, not until all snow/ice/salt residue has been washed away
I just got my front bumper back today from body shop for a re-spay,so many stone chips
from last years DGRR trip.
Now that the weather is getting warmer, it now gives me the chance to actaully
get the many purchaces over the winter on the car.
Hope to see everyone in the next few weeks at our regular Friday night meets

What's wrong with taking your truck to a meet? Eh, Mr. G_man?

Well I hope there is a meet soon I would even consider coming down from Wasaga Beach to see all the cars out. Had lots of fun in Edmonton with the RX7 club I am sure this will be just as much fun even considering it's a bit of a drive.
