BlackEight - not sure where you work by the airport, but you'll be seeing my 8 in that area as soon as the snow thaws. I should have her out of storage in April...look for a red 8 with lots of accessories and a guy with a big grin on his face.



I work near Airport Rd and American Drive, but come in via 407/403/401/427/409 (in that order )

 

I drive down airport road every morning.

bramlea -> derry -> airport -> 27

So we may run into each other. but like yourself I never see any on the road. Very very odd thing.

I live around that area! Rexdale and 427....
i'm always on the 427 and 401...
I travel accross the city every day.... the mileage accumulates pretty quickly...
so yeah, I have a Brilliant Black as well... had mine for about 4 weeks..

I've seen one silver 8 in the area.... all the options on it.. from the skirts and air dam to the strakes and the alluminum fuel door to the Nav system...

lol.. so. so far i see there are 3 or 4 8s in the area.. maybe we could set up a mini Rexdale 8 meet :P lol

 

Cool, so that's two more that I can look out for. I'm actually closer to Dixie and Courtney Park, so our paths may not cross during rush hour, but maybe lunchtime. :-P

Same here... I have a black with alloys.. they're black 6 twin spokes with a polished lip.. =)
other than that its completely stock.. but will be adding a front air damn soon.. along with the rear flares.. just gotta find some side skirts... maybe the mazda speed ones =)

 

Hey BrilliantBlackEight, I work near Dixie and Shawson, and i'm driving up and down the 401 in the morning and after work, maybe i'll see you one day too. I see an 8 almost everyday, but today the streak has stopped, unless I see one later tonight on the QEW.

 

hehe, i'm stupid.. I have a black with STOCK tires on, spoiler, strakes. I stored it for most of the winter but I couldn't resist not driving it. So i take it out on non snowy days.. Had mine since last June..

Hi SaugaBoy, its cool that you work close by. I typically take Derry Road in from Milton in the morning, and the 401 going home at night. So I will keep my eyes peeled. :p

 

Spotted a Yellow one this morning at 8:30 on the 407 getting off to the 403, passed me fast I guess cause my tires were shooting up water from the road. The Yellow had a tattoo on her left *** cheek (some sort of bumper sticker, I think someone in here mentioned before that they saw one with a bumper sticker )

 

SaugaBoy - I see that 8 quite regularly (I posted the original sighting). The bumper sticker is rather odd ... it says "I'd rather be driving my Harley Davidson".

Is also a female driver that doesn't seem to frequent this board.

If you are in the 407/403 area regularly, you'll see me in my 8 very soon...I take that route to work every day.

 

I drive that way alot for work, so I usually see alot of 8's around. This was first time I saw this one, and I remember someone saying they saw that one before. What times do you travel at in that area?

 

What time do leave and head back home on the 407 Mic????

3 sightings for today.

A Silver, saw last second as he was just going the other way leaving a cloud of salt dust behind him. I think he had a passenger. This was around 10:45am, in Pickering, heading south on Altona from Whitesvale (I think) towards Teston Rd.

A Titanium at 12:30 on Dixie road between Meyerside and Britannia, going south in the left lane. Very clean.

Another Titanium at around 2:15 I think, was heading North on Bathurst over the 407 towards Hwy 7, was on his cell phone.

You were seated directly opposite of me. You came up to me after and we talked a bit about your buying experience before your food came up, then me, you, and Dan walked to get our cars to join the others at the other side.
And during work hours, i'm driving trucks, usually a cubevan (distance ranges from Niagara/fort Erie, to London, to Barrie, To Bowmanville, few times Napanee)
While drive my 8 since last July, I think i've only seen a titanium on the QEW in august/september, one on 9th line, and George (I think that's his name) back in January when me and Shamblerock met up for a coffee. So all my sightings are when i'm driving my work truck basically.

 

Oh yah, forgot, August longweekend, at end of July begining of August, went to Montreal. Saw a blue 8, a guy and his girl/wife somewhere between Kingston and Quebec. And saw I believe 4 8's in Downtown Montreal, seemed every time I turned my head, there was another one. I remember one parked at the bottom of one street, can't remember name, just south of St. Catherine's street. Was a Blue, with gunmetal rims I believe, looked great.

 

I saw a Black RX8 at Dixie and Williams Pkwy (Bramption Ont.) around 7:45 am today. It still had frost on the roof. Brrrrrr.

 

This morning on the 407, heading west between PineValley and 27, a Red 8 with a spoiler, very clean, I think was a woman driver, blonde hair, maybe the glare from the sunlight obstructed my vision a bit, so not sure exactly about the driver, was at 10:10am. Exactly one minute later, at 10:11am, another Red heading the same way, no spoiler or anything looked like.
At 3:55pm going north on Mississauga rd, just over the 401, was a blue 8, had a spoiler. I was in my silver 8 getting off the 401, was in the left lane, and the first car, so easy to see me, was waiting to turn left/south on Mississauga rd, was changing cd's, so didn't see if the driver actually saw me or not, cause I noticed the car right when it was right infront of me driving by. I think this 8 owner lives in Mississauga rd area somewhere around Eglinton perhaps, spotted it a few times up and down that road before last year.

 

Wow, you had quite a day with sightings! I've had my car for three weeks and have yet to see another.

Another woman in an 8 huh? The more the merrier I say!

Purchased my white 8 a month ago, the black one in Brampton was the first one I've seen. However I live north of the city so ........ blah blah blah I suck.
