Saw a moded red today at around noon south on the 404 before the Hwy 7 exit. Waved, checked out his ride and waved goodbye when he exited.

I see how many 8's each day (averaging like 3 a day) and never seems to be someone on the site. Weird how I only see the ones that don't care, but the people that would like to be seen and noticed by a fellow family member never get seen.

Shamblerock, Kartracer -
Not a bad truck to call if you ever need one - Harry is the guy's name - K.B.W. Towing - (416)255-4443 - Guy was really careful with the car.
First 8 he's towed?
Problem? MIL on March 22nd - Possibly fixed on April 12 - 3 weeks later.
What happened, and what did they do to fix it? Only 400+ km's on so far too early to tell if it is fixed.
Update - April 18th - MIL on again, fail-safe mode - car broken - now at Ontario Mazda - Dealer #3 for this problem. Car has visited 5 Metro dealers so far in it's short 1 year life. Who knows - this problem might take the car out for 1 month out of 13. Acceptable? NOT!
"N" flash so far so good - better acceleration, cleaner exhaust.
Stickers? I have an RX 8 club.com sticker in VR I got from Polak - haven't STUCK it yet though.
How about we get license plate covers made up - make it easier to know who is on the site, and who isn't.

Saw a nice blue Rx-8 on Dalhousie St. here in Ottawa tonight (Friday)...parked outside Nickels Diner. I was driving my Rx-7 for the first time this year...definitely a nice night out in the market!

All: I have a VR w/rotary accents front/back and spoiler. If you want to know it's me, then look for the "Racing Beat" plate surround on the back.

Played witha Red on my way home tonight around 7:30Pm. We drove about 20 KM's passing each other, having fun, nothing serious, 110-120 KM/h stuff.
Exited on Trafalgar and I pulled up beside and complimented his car, and he did the same, oddly enough he was headed to the subdivision I live in. Dunno if he was visiting or if he lives there.
Good fun, good people, great car!

It was light enough still to see the maroonish/redish tinge, its a nice subtle color. I prefer my two tone leather vs the light beige of this one but many interior accents do make it look higher end.
- leather (although one tone) does look higher quality and there are no "rubber parts" to the leather seats like those of us with leather.
- glossy black plastic (like on the main console) for the area where the steering wheel mounted buttons are.
- leather trimmed cup holder/cd hiding spot cover.
- shift *** had black shift pattern on white (vs. the other way round for me)
- 'chromish' colored headrest triangles vs. our 'polished aluminum' colored ones.
As a package, does look like the interior of a $60k car.

Spotted a silver with dealer plates not long ago in Burlington, came up beside it, woman taking a test drive and I waved, don't think she was looking.
My animal instinct kicked in, double-clutched and sped off. Come to think of it, she seemed rather cute, maybe I should've have sped off!

On my way to work this morning, in Burlington on Brant street (south of the QEW). I turned right onto Fairview and noticed from my side mirror that there was a black 8 following me!
Couldn't have been very long at all but considering I also have a black, it was a little startling :D

Hey Jynx. Long time no see
Yeah that was me . I was making a left into the EX.
Your 8 looked SPOTLESS. Very clean.
Can't say the same for mine . I don't really want to wax it until I get the MS kit on .
They're painting it now ..... ohh the anticipation is killing me . After being screwed with the first order.... I delivered this one myslef to the body shop .
I'll be seeing you more this summer I guess !
Cheers
Pete

Spotted a Red yesterday on Tomken north of Eglinton, was following the guy wearing a blue dress shirt up to Timberlea where he started to make a left. I got up to Britannia and was making a right, and saw the same guy now making a left on Britannia (guess the guy didn't have the nav. system in his 8, since he didn't know exactly where he was going I guess).
A Titanium 8 going east on the 401 around Mavis this morning, ran his fingers through his hair, then rubbed under his nose, looked itchy (was stuck in traffic, parked, accident there, and had nothing better to do then stare at people hahaha). Mic, doubt that was you though, because you're in Meadowvale around 8:20am.

I agree. Black DEF needs Starkes..... $500 is a bit steep .... but they do look awesome
