That's what it's all about! FUN!! NO one should be going out to prove anything to anyone IMO, that's when thing happen. If ANYONE is an idiot/unsafe they will be removed from the track and all these events.

Thewird - Sorry man we are and I believe someone took thunder's spot. Right now we are sitting at 23 and if Al brings his race car, we are at the MAX of 24 and we don't want more than 24.

Pros man haven't heard from you U can't even come now man, we will have to many cars, u never sent payment.

It took me 2 years to catch that VW. If you put an advanced driver in the Crown Vic and a 1st timer in the RX8 the Vic will lap you. If its the other way around the Vic doesnt stand a chance. When you take street cars at Mosport that are modified way more than our race car and have
100+ horespower on us, they are still 2 seconds a lap slower, yet I could put a pro driver in my own car and find out I'm 2-3 seconds slower in the same car. Point of this is................stop the bench racing and learn to driver your own car to its limits. Most of you are doing quite well, but your still 3-4 seconds off what your cars are capable of in their current form. Each of you will have a different learning curve, some will get there faster than others. Just go out and enjoy the ticket free.... drive as fast as your comfortable.... ride!
My dad used to race at Westwood when it was still there and when we lived in Vancouver. I know I have been there, but I don't remember it because we moved away when I was 3. Right now we have a poster of an aerial view of Westwood on the wall in the computer room! Silver Jubilee Event 1959-1984. Sweet! My dad has told me about even older grudge matches between a mini and a mustang. Apparently it was always close.

Yeah... Al hasn't been around for me to give him the extra 40... well.. I guess 17 since the 23 dollar back thing. He'll have the money as soon as he's back.

My other friend who's takin' thunder's spot will be giving me the money in the next day or so.. will drop it to Scott after that.

Finally got my R1's on the Shinka rims.

Thanks to Colin for doing a superb job, and Al for giving me advice with regards to the alignment.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), I didn't catch the attention of cops, and couldn't verify what limited street conditions the R1's were allowed on...

Unbelievable amount of grip on these tires.... had to restrain myself from yielding to temptation and going crazy...

Time to switch to my temp crap tires until the 17th now...

How many of us are going to be changing tires at the track?

Is there going to be a storage area to put our tools and stuff?

well the track holds 24 at a time how many people do we have? also realize that its doubtful all of us will be on the track at the time. people will break up in little groups and do the 20min on 20min off. just saying lol
this is where i get everyone pissed at me for not following the rules and what not
