thanks for keeping track marc. I put my payment in the mail on sunday night. The reason i've left it so long is that i was planning on going with Al on sunday to the race, but decided not to last minute. so anyways, Al, you should receive it tomorrow or thursday i think. Really sorry for taking so long to pay.

Once I receive Greg's payment I am paid in full for the track at 17 people. Thank you all to have paid I really do appreciate that. For anyone else wanting to come, you must bring cash to the track and reinburse each of the 17 early payees NOT ME! I will leave it to you guys how many more you want to allow (max is 24).

Think you guys have room for one more?

I'm thinking of coming with my brother once I get my set of wheels...
(and the alignment, transmission/diff fluid change....)

oh BTW, does anyone whether Scarborough Mazda uses stick-on balancing weights or pound-on's? also, which is better?

the type of weight used is determined by the rim itself. On our rims, or any other Aluminum rim without an outter lip, you cant use pound on weights anyways, so obviously they will use stick ons. for the inside of the wheel, there is a lip there designed to accept pound on weights, so why not use it? there isnt really a better or worse, you just use the appropriate ones.

okay since 17 people have paid i 17x121=2057
so 18 people at 114.27=2057
so take my 114 divided by 18people = $6.30

so now i owe everyone $6.30
and i am NOT mailing 17 people cheques so when i see you at the track ill gladly pay my $6.30 to everyone. if anyone has a prob with my math feel free to correct it

Sounds about right Nate. But wait and see if we hit 20. Agree with Kevin stop at 20/21. Once we have the extras confirmed, those who have to pay still, will need to reimburse everyone that has before they can touch the track.

Hey Al, I had no idea you sold helmets so I posted this up. On the link, sorry didn't realize it defaulted back to the first page of helments which I agree with you 100% on the uselessness of them for protection. I meant to link to the Mach I Vega helments that are Snell2005 approved. Let me try that link again.

[18] rotarygreg (payment in the mail)

[20]

Spots 19 and 20 are still open, so first ppl to confirm they want the spots get it.

An option for those that haven't paid - Their FULL payment can be sent to me and then I can divide everything up and refund everyone at the track. What you guys think?

ya but it still is not SA2005 approved, which Al is talking about.

Or does that mean the same thing?!?!?!

OMG... I am such an IDIOT for getting 18*7 instead of 18*8.... guess I'll wait till my stocks die out before I mount the R1's on them ><

and +1 to my idiocy for forgetting to ask Al about whether I should pay him or at the track ><

It's official: me = stupid ><

(anyone have 18*8's for ~400? ... yes... I'm cheap... cuz I can't afford not to be...)

There are 2 different Snell ratings. M or SA, most of the helmets on the market are M2005 not SA, an SA helmet is much more expensive.

Please see first post!!!!! updated

The top 17 people have paid Al and the track is covered.

We are only going to run with a MAX of 20, so there are 3 more spots available. If you want one of the spots it is first come first serve, meaning whoever pays first gets the spots. You will send payment $121 to me (via email transfer) and I will divide everything up, put the excess money in envelopes for everyone that paid and hand them out as soon as we all get to the track.

see first post for my email to transfer funds.

If you want a friend to come that's fine, don't have to ask, just send their money with your info so I can update.

Because I have no idea at this present moment if we will fill the next 3 spots or even 1 or 2 of them. This way even if it is only you coming (as an example) u will receive a refund as well, but if someone else comes, u will get a bigger one. It will get crazy if I say you owe blah and the next person owes blah and then i have to refund you a different amount than the top 17 etc etc.
