Well there are 2 reasons:
Once we are at the track history says that about 10% of what gets discussed is absorbed the other 90% gets disolved by testoterone.
Some of the things are car prep that should be done before you get to the track.
The only reason I am suggesting this is because I will not have time to help or talk, we will get there quick prep of the race car and systems, and hopefully only stop once or twice for fuel.
If we cant do it thats cool, I just thought some of the 1st timers would appreciate the pointers.

I will be lucky to get to the track before 5:30 as it is.
Al is it good to run our cars that long? From when I have tracked I heard it is better for the cars like 20-30min on, 10-15 cool down then on and off again. Just what I have experienced at the track.
Whenever is fine...I just dont get home until 6:30 from work except fridays home at 3.

Others at the meet mentioned that it as important for cooling, so didn't want to just rip it off without some confirmation pone way or the other...

I only laugh cause I remember how Al said it when we were looking at it when Thiefs car was getting new breaks.
Dont take my word for it, wait for Al to confirm.

plus...I will be taking it "easy" for this track day just to get a feel for my new car.

For what little air the brake shields direct to the rotors, they hold a lot more heat against them.

I am really impressed with you RX8 dudes. Usually when people say "yeah im in" it means I will cancel at the last minute. You guys stood up and paid your money (except Greg is his cheque really in the mail?!) Im Kidding Im kidding. I am stopping at 10 that gives us less traffic so to speak and I dont think anyone will miss $10.00. Now we all must pray for good weather........we have the track rain or shine, no refunds unless it snows!
