Shifting into reverse
Well I guess it pays to read the manual. I was driving a friend to the beer store yesterday (first day I had my 8) and couldn't get it into reverse. He couldn't stop laughing and bugging me about the fact that I just bought a sports car and can't even back it up!
Evently I did but found out later that you need to push down before going out past 6th.
Humiliating but at least it was only in front of one person.
Jus thought I'd share my humility.

I feel ya, I used to have a Jeep Wrangler and didn't have to push the stick down to unlock reverse. I had my car off the lot and for about an hour until i had to get into reverse and it took me about 15 min of trying before I busted out the manual.

lol... same here.
When I picked up my 8 the first thing I did was drive it to the other side of the building beside my old car. every time I drove an 8 it was set up for me so I just pulled straight ahead. It took me about five minutes before my father told me to try pushing down on the shifter.
