Hey, thanks! It's a boy! And I'm going to brainwash him into cars like I did my brother. (hmm.. maybe not a good thing is it?) Now I need to get a Baby On Board sign for my 8! haha... wonder if people will still want to race me then?

This Mazda sightings thread is a depressing thing to me, as i just bought mine a few months back and i have summer tires on it. Even though the roads are clear, my cul de sac is pretty shady and hasnt even come close to melting, so i cant get it out of my cul de sac. every day i look at it in the garage.. sad times indeed.....

^^ Uhhh ... it's a given to get winters. Just go to the tire store --> get winters mounted on rims --> have a friend drive back the rims/tires to your house --> mount tires in your garage --> then yeah you're free!

A true Rx8'er would drive the other car around the cul de sac for 8888888888 rounds and melt the ice to get the 8 out =)

...but it isn;t just snow you need to worry about with the summer tires. You also have to consider the cold. When it gets to about 5 degrees C and below, there might as well be smow all over the road because you won;t get very good traction. The rubber freezes and does not perform well.

Bite the bullet...buy some winters....turn the traction control off when in your neighborhood and go be a "drift king".

So just push it out of the cul de sac and you're good to go.
I saw a motorcycle out and about today (before the crazy wind) if he can do it so can you..!

I actually know someone that hasnt switched to his winters yet.. and its his daily driver *gasp* he's all over the place. They have to be all seasons, not summers.. even in the deep snow he spun alot but still managed to get going and keep it going. I'm not that brave (or nuts) but hey.. what do i know.

Well Chris, you can always organize a meet! We all drive our 8s during the winter, right? I bet we can get some pretty nice pics if it snows!

hey everyone, i havent posted here for a long time but really miss you guys. someone talked about meet? oh forgot to say, i decided not to sell my 8 so i will be free to meet in the winter only if its not gonna be snowing. By the way, i ordered a set of 5zigen FNOR1-C rims and goodyear eagle F1-All season 245/40 tires. If we meet, at least let me throw them on. HAHA.
still always see a 07 blue(darker than WB) RX8 parked under my apartment, anyone here. i live at brava building, westgate park.

maybe its too late but still congratulations!

I skipped on Thursday or you would have seen me, haha...And on Tuesday I had good luck, and found a spot on the baller side of lot11...

I also have a low RX-8 sighting rate lately...only see Phil, and a TG every now and then...There's actually a Silver 8 in lot 11 I see quite often, with stock rims+winters...but I haven't seen the owner...

saw a couple of RX-8 parked at Cardel Place last Sunday. a Red one and a gray one. Too bad I didn't drive mine, or else there would have been 3 in one small area of the parking lot.
