Was this one parked in the science theaters parking lot? I see it there quite a bit but I've never seen yours on campus, I shall look out for a shinka!

which one are you talking about? his WB or my shinka? I occasionally park at the science theater parking lot.

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a hi. Recently bought an 08 6mt, black with the mazdaspeed kit less the rear spoiler. It's my daily driver so it's filthy as you can imagine. I'm probably the only guy in Calgary with the green licence plate(sask).

Pretty sure I passed a sliver rx-8 heading out to Cochrane just the other day, looks a hell of alot cleaner than mine

Perhaps this is better left to a new or other thread, but what are the performance benefits of the Accessport over the RB flash. From what I've read the RB flash allows me to run a different intake. And why not start with the basics such as intake, exhaust and pullies first? SR claims over 30HP on the 04's (I of course do not put faith in every aftermarket claim, I'm just stating the differences in claims) Accessport claims 5.5% = ~13HP for 04-08's.

intakes do not gain that much...lol. Most I/E combos don't do crap for the car.

Search up 'Mazdamaniac'

Then read
https://www.rx8club.com/mazdamaniac-183/cobb-accessport-discussion-140117/
https://www.rx8club.com/mazdamaniac-183/new-mazdamaniac-base-calibrations-162263/

All and every thing you could ask is in those threads (although they are VERY long now)

People have been using the AP with Turbos and superchargers, different intakes and everything.

The AEM is arguably the 'best' intake for the car...but on it's own it makes 0whp...yes that's zero horse power. Cat back makes around the same...*catless* midpipe has the largest gain...

No one has done a back to back dyno of the stock intake vs non stock...but the stock intake isn't really an restriction...but we don't know the tuned differences on the same car, I guess we'll need a guinea pig. and there are huge advantages of the AP over the RB flash...which could end up costing almost as much for a generic flash.

Seeing alot of RX8's around the city recently, saw a dark purple one outside the bestbuy near sunridge mall(that one had some winter tires). Also saw a galaxy grey one near the keg on mcleod, that one didn't have winter tires and it was interesting watching it try and get up the slope to get on to mcleod, obviously it didn't make it and had to go out the back way

honestly, **** SR! I had one before and I paid more than 430 for that piece of ****; do u know how much i sold it for? 100 dollars shipped!! but it ended up to be lost on the way to the US. So I got 100 dollars + 37 dollars shipping back from canadapost. that was kinda funny tho, i made 37 dollars more cuz Canadapost lost my item.

anyways, if u were talking about SR motorsport? that was the one I had before. The fitment of it was sooooo bad, when I opened my hood, my intake was shifted to a different location each time by not much obviously but its still annoying. I will never buy any intake on the market unless its something made of arts.

New thread up at https://www.rx8club.com/canada-forum-35/alberta-rx-8-sightings-193716/, it's more like an all of Alberta thing, but mainly Calgary is what I intended.
