silver 8 in ottawa "9k rpm"
Hey guys,
I was on 417 a couple days ago in my red 87 TII, I noticed a beautiful silver rx-8 with plate "9krpm". We gave each other thumbs up. Was that anyone on here?

The reason I posted is that I see a lot of rx-8 guys (in ottawa) that don't respond to thumbs up or anything. I guess they maybe don't know what the older 7s look like?
I figured only a true rotary fan would have a plate like "9krpm".

I'm silver, but I'm not 9KRPM. I always answer a thumbs-up from an RX-7 if I see it, though. I've known what RX-7's were ever since the cute English teacher in my high-school drove one (must have been an SA).

Although I did have an embarassing moment the other day, when this new guy on my street starting waving wildly at as I was walking back to my car from the mailbox, my stereo was loud and obnoxious with the windows down as usual (i enjoy my tunes). I thought he was waving me over the check out my ride, so I says to the guy, "You like it???" He then yells back, "no, your radio is too loud" :o
I drove off in shame. I guess not everyone can appreciate the 8
