Speedsource Rx-8 clinches the overall title in Grand Am ST Cup. 5th consecutive podium finish helped Cdn. driver S. Tremblay to the title.
Unbelievable for the 1st year of development. Moreover, the Rx-8 had a bundle of 1st place finishes, and a few bad outings in the beginning. Had it not have been for a slow start the points race would have been a huge margin.

I had been keeping track of their performance all through the season, its good to see such great results from the car. I had the chance as well to see them in action at Mt. Tremblant in may. Also Tremblay used to race a 95 TT Rx-7 in the Speedvision cup, he did very well there until restrictions limited the car, good to see other Rotary lovers racing!!!

There is an article on Speedsource and their 8 on page 41 of the Fall 2004 "Road & Track's SPEED" magazine.

They also have a cover story on the Mazdaspeed 8.
And, yes, this is great news. :D
