Tein S-tech + Winters

Tein S-tech + Winters
I posted this in the tires/wheels/suspension section, and I figure I'd post it here to get some more exposure on this.
Do you fit this description?
1) Daily driver car
2) Lowered on Tein S-techs
Question is, what problems did you have concerning eating snow? Were there days you absolutely couldn't drive because the snow was too high, where you WOULD HAVE DRIVEN back whe you had stock suspension?
I'm deciding whether to go Tein S-techs or not as it's my daily driver. I cannot afford coilovers at the moment to get ride height adjustability. I survived last winter on stock suspension with MS CAI and Dunlop Wintersport M3's.
Last winter I noticed the front air dam was essentially packed with snow on super snowy days. All 4 wheel wells were also packed full of slush/snow and ice, but otherwise the car drove fine. Lowering the car would also have less room in the wheel well to pack in snow and ice. Is that gonna screw up the traction?
