From this old Paint Protection Film :
I also had the rear side windows and rear window tinted with XG film, 35% - $119 Cdn

Here's an Imagestation photo album from 22 months ago of my road trip to Monterey - lots of pics showing the tint on the RX-8!
I'll add a couple of smaller pics later...

I already have my rear and 2 rear sides done with 7%...I'm thinking about doing the 2 front sides with 30% or something like that. I guess that would probably be around $100 then?

I just got my car clear-bra'ed yesterday!! I got it done at this place called Freestyle Designz, and the results are damn amazing since they had to hand-cut sheets due to the MS front bumper. Plus they did the sideskirts and rear deflectors too. I couldn't be more impressed with their work, and they do tint too. Just thought I'd share my experience...

I'm getting my done. I brought the car in for a 20% tint on the back three windows and 50% on the front side windows. There was a mix-up and now I have 20% on the back window and 50% on the back side windows, and nothing on the front side windows. Oh well, she's going back in to get it done right. That's at Shadow Tint as well.
One question for y'all: there are some small bubbles on my back window tint already. Should I be worried? Is that normal?

So it's not legal to install tinting of any kind on the front three windows. Technically, that means that the blue tint one sometimes sees at the top of some front windows is illegal.
And I just left Shadow Tint a few hours ago with 50% tint on the front side windows. Damn.

I just got my back 3 windows tinted at shadow tint....20% tint. I got a bit of a deal because I mentioned that they were recommended on this site.
I can't imagine going to a 5% tint like KHTM did.....at night you wouldn't be able to see a thing.
