Hi, I inquired about about joining the VCMC a few years back when I had my miata. Correct me if I'm wrong, but back then it was required that all new people had to take a sit-down class(es) before doing any actual autocrossing. Is that not the case anymore? Anyhow, I'm a relatively new 8 owner and still pretty interested. I'm sure that a lot of the other local 8 guys would be too. This Sunday morning may be a little short notice though. Any chance you'd be able to make it out to the Vancouver meet at 5:00 https://www.rx8club.com/canada-forum-35/vancouver-meet-sunday-may-27th-%40-5-00-pm-116043/ after the auto x event? It would be great to have you there so you could share all the info.

I was a complete novice until last month, I did my 1st autox at the UBC club NTN (Next Top Novice) event. It was fun racing around a parking lot with cones setting up for turns, slaloms and curves. I will definitely try again.
