What do you guys usually do on these meets anyways? Maybe more people would commit if we had something more concrete planned like: coffee, beers, bowling or whatever, instead of only meeting up and driving around. Anyone have any idea or suggestions?

 

I'm good with coffee or bowling... Beer at 1pm is a little too early for me personally...

But i think it'd be cool to meet up somewhere, then drive together to coffee or whatever...

Okay. let's make this more concrete.... Let's do pool. We all like pool, right? We'll meet up, then drive to a pool hall. I only know pool halls in richmond... Anyone know anywhere else more convenient...?

So the plan:

Saturday, April 28 @ 1:00pm.
- Meet up at a well known location near the pool hall we'll go to.
- Drive together to the pool hall.

Sound good? Any objections? Any better suggestions? I'm very open to other suggestions.

Hey Eldon, any way to make this meet closer to Alfred and me? I live up at SFU and I think Alfred is in Poco. Does anyone like golf? Maybe driving range, pitch n putt, lunch, or pool in a more central location? Anyone else want to join in? Make a suggestion if you want for a meet. I think all we have right now is Saturday at 1PM.

 

haha. sure. Since it seems like it's just us three, just tell me where to go. I don't mind driving out to burnaby... or poco is okay too if there's something out there. haha. I'm good with driving range... not that big a pitch and putt person... I don't know where anything is east of boundary.... so you guys suggest something.

Hi, I hate to dictate where to go since I'm the new one here and the location would probably be closest to me. It might make me appear even more selfish than I usually am!
Anyways, how about this. We could meet up at the front entrance of Metrotown (Chapter's)Starbuck's, have a coffee. Then go to the range, pool, eat, or whatever we decide on. Last chance for anyone else with ideas or want to come out?
