Vancouver ppl?
I currently drive a 01 MP3 and im looking at the possibiliy of trading-in for a Rx-8....
Im looking for a GT model with sunroof.
For those of you who has gotten the 8... Can you tell me where and how much you got it for?
I've also read the other thread about this guy from Calgary getting a GT with sunroof, mud guards, front/rear spoiler and a whole bunch of other accessories for 46 taxes in?!

Yup, that's me. I can't stop smiling since none of the dealerships here in Calgary can match it.
Good luck with your search - you won't regret it. I took one test drive and I was hooked.

Mine is currently at a 2 year lease, to reduce interest, then switching to financing. Was originally gonna trade to the EVO8 next year, but I love this car. When I was on vacation, and it ended up snowing, the only thing that made it difficult to drive, is if it is slushy, then its hard to grip. and this is still using the same tires it came with, not winter, i know, stupid me, but, it doesnt snow much in van, so who would think of it, hehe.
so, mine is gonna cost a little over 45k when all is said and done. Didnt get rear spoiler or mud guards.
I want to get the mazda speed spoiler instead.
Which dealership is best for getting strakes though? Morray? Wolfe? Richmond Automall? any suggestions?

You will probably have shipping and brokerage charges (depending on how they ship), but if you order a bunch of items together, then the cost/item drops significantly. When I bought the strakes, I also bought Redline gear lube, a car cover for my Miata, etc. You could also see if some local RX-8 owners want to go together on a group buy from one of those vendors that get's shipped in one package - I arranged such a buy for Calgary Miata buyers a couple of years ago.
