Google synthetic oil and you will come up with 3 common names. Amsoil, Royal Purple, and Redline.
Further research shows that these 3 are top performers, and "real" synthetics blah blah blah.
Personally I picked Amsoil.
My questions are other than Canadian Tire, why isn't amsoil (or the other 2) available in major stores?
If they are that good all 3 should be on the shelf next to the Castrol's and company.
I signed up for the Amsoil prefered customer program and received a lot of BS.
Vitamin catalogs, apperal catalogs, etc.
I have no doubts as to the quality of Amsoil, but they sure seem to push the membership thing.
Do they make more money signing people up as dealers and selling them literature than they do oil sales?
A good product should sell itself either online or off the shelf without having to create an Amway army of agents.
All I wanted was a good oil for the best price.
I got that plus a "build your business acheive your dreams" kit.
I work with a guy who is in the "team of destiny" . Amsoil kinda seems the same to a lessor degree.
So, what's up with that?
