I have a couple rolls in stock and can get anything else made by them.

It would only glow if it were under some hard driving conditions, it doesn't normally glow, although they are quite warm under normal driving conditions....waaay too hot to touch.
I've wrapped 13B N/A headers with the DEI wrap before and after a nice hard drive down the road and back I could still put my hand on the header without burning it.
That stuff works great!

Header wrap is excellent at lowering engine bay temps, but if you get any water on the headers (from the road or from washing the engine bay) the exhaust manifold will rust and eventually crack.
just my 2 cents.

True, if the engine is not warm or up to temp, the header wrap will trap the moisture in it and make the header rust.
But if it the engine has been running for a while and the exhaust is nice and warm, the moisture will evaporate and not cause as much rust.....it will still cause some rust but not as much as just letting the water sit there. Know what I mean?

I agree with you.
The best thing to do, if you had the time/money, would be to ceramic coat the exhaust manifold on the inside and outside. Only problem is that it is pretty expensive and your car would have some downtime.

We actually offer ceramic coating and to have an older 13B header coated on the outside would be around $150. We use a Satin Black coating thats good for 1500 degrees F.
Mind you, an RX-8 manifold/header is a bit larger than the older 13B's so it'll probably cost a bit more. And yes.....downtime does suck
But whats even better is that we have an RX-8 stock manifold here we could get coated and just swap it for yours as a core, then the only real downtime is swapping manifolds.
