Yeah.. it really is.. I can only imagine the level of frustration you go through when you try to organize things.
Nobody is really saying anything. And as far as I can see, only 3 people are serious about getting tires this season. And nobody wants to get the same brand. Everyone's scattered. Hell, we even got a request for an all season tire!!! Jeeze...

I give up... I know where I have to go... everyone else can get rubber at their desecration.

^ thanks for trying Neo, but for me it's cheaper to go via the US.

Now, got I brakes and plugs/wires/coils to get too...who wants to organize that?

Sorry Neo if I said something wrong. I was just trying to help. I didn't need tires. I was just offering help.

9291150 I'm getting brakes and rotors done on the entire car. I'm getting ebc 3GD sport slotted and dimpled rotors with ebc redstuff pads when the car comes out of storage. Let me know and I can talk to the garage that gets and installs them.

No need to apologize, I tried, but alas, there are too many variables at play.
I know some of you are close to the border, and by all means, cross the border.
The rest of us, will have to make due with what's around us.

Great idea, I'd swapping everything out too, though I'd likely swap 'em myself. If you don't mind PM me on the price, maybe we can negotiate with 'em if we double up. ...Rui

Fine summer tires it is.

If we stay 2 nights in the US and I get the tires there will I still have to pay duty?

Star Specs $219.67 + $79 install + tx = 1082.18 @ OttawaTiresDirect.com

That doesn't include any club discounts, which are usually $10-$20 per tire.

wcs, you should get some rubber en route to getting a tune. The tires should be scrubbed enough on your return to the North.

My local dealer has Hercules Raptis 225/45/18 for $678 out the door. Cash may provide some savings. I have yet to look up opinions on them.
