Boffman - and others - I too would like to go but the day-trips are right out with work and all. Anyone going in the evening (yes I know it will be crowded). The string abover is confusing - It looks like Chad and Fisher made it... let me know

Yesterday I spotted 3 RX8's in Windsor.
-First was a silver S1 heading southbound on Huron Church from the bridge to EC Row around 4pm.
-Second was a red S1 with snow tires heading westbound on EC Row near the mall around 4pm. I believe I have seen this one before.
-This was a grey S1 heading northbound on Walker Rd between EC Row and the Minivan assembly plant around 11:30pm.
Any of these spottings anyone here? I never expected to see that many RX8's on a chilly Feb day.

I feel ya man. /\
My car will hopefully be tiptop when the time comes though.
I see tons of 8's in Chatham.
oh, and AkursedX, Windsor drivers are weird. I see a black GTR, green lotus and 911's on snowy days here all the time. my driving time behind the wintegra's wheel it making me eager to drive my car.

Out 2-3 times a week
I have not been shy in getting out on the road, I do a lot of local Windsor/Tecumseh runs - Took the Titanium Tiger out on the 401 to Toronto and London even in the snow...
I do see the traction control locking in when I "deep snowed" it in London - can't hurry the beast on snowy corners.
I was feeling like I was not needing the snow tires and just wasting gas up until then.
Salt and road slush on the body makes me sad - glad for the Krown!

I spotted that black GTR a couple of days ago. I usually have to work in Windsor 2-3 times a week. My RX8 is up on jackstands for now though as I have a bunch of parts to install. Hopefully it'll be back on the road by the middle of March.

Hey all, Just bought an '05 this week, been keeping my eye out for a while for a sweet deal on an rx8 and finally found one. I pick up the keys this Saturday and I'm pretty excited. Any tips for a new owner? Rotary engine kinda scares me... I got some plans to do a few simple mods right off the bat like a better head-unit with built in nav... anyone in the Windsor area willing to meet up and give me some suggestions?

It's black... automatic... definitely up for a meetup sometime. I've been prowling the forums lately and collected a lot of info on basic care of the rx-8... thinking about getting a viper remote starter so I can get the car up to operating temperature in the morning... anyone have any experience installing one?
