That would be way too big... usually a + or - 2% difference is acceptable, but that size would put you 10% bigger than stock (225/45/18), increasing the diameter by 2.6in. That would throw off your speedo, give you much longer gear ratios and may or may not catch in the wheel arch, especially when snow accumulates there. Might as well sell them and get the right size, which shouldn't be a problem considering 225/45/18 is a fairly common size.

 

hello, another question. when i'm trying to fix the check engine icon on cluster, i disconnect the negative terminal on my battery, pump the breaks couple of times then it works fine but my odometer reading has changed!!!! it reduced to more then 30k km... is this normal?? any info?

Hmmm, not sure why disconnecting the battery would do that... It's normal to get your trip millage reset, but it shouldn't affect your overall millage.
