Hey Footman, I washed your sponge for the polisher, and it's more or less clean now =] the sponge itself isn't red anymore, though the velcro part still is. I'll give ti back to you at the next meet or something

Holy jeez, nice pics guys. Where did you take those? Great-looking stuff, at any rate.
Also, I'd be game for a winter-car version. Wish I'd spotted this thread sooner, I'd have tried to make it over. Guess I should read a bit on those products, rather than ask for an explanation of the general procedure in here.

Hey Neo,
If you really want you can get your lock nuts off by getting a socket just a bit bigger then the nut and use a rubber hammer and ram it in. You won't be able to use the nuts again unless you want it all chewed up and scratched.
The previous owner of my 8 had the lock nuts and lost the key so being the asian i am i refused to pay someone to take it off so i just googled it.

I am The One!
yes, that sounds a bit like a McGuyver move.
Regardless, its too late. I've already got the car loaded with the winter tires waiting to get to the dealer for the swap.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
