Before winter or after winter? I can go anytime so you let me know. He is quite reasonable and does an excellent job so don't worry.

Did you call him?

I tried calling him a few times but apparently he was out of the country or something. I tried calling again. But ill probably food after winter. No point of going before cause hail can cause even more dents over the winter lol. So just do it all at once

For the record, I picked up some knock-off Reflex wiper blades from Princess Auto, for $10 each. Okay price for these, but still too much. I had them a few years ago, and they fell apart after 1 year. Bought the cheapest ones I could find after that, and they worked exactly as well.

Also, my friend works at a shop out in Markham, he did my rust-proofing for me, I forget what it's called, but it's that chunky black stuff. Looks like hell underneath, but not as bad as a rusted-out RX8 would look. I'll post some pics, if I ever get around to it ...

What kind of shop does that? Do you need to go to dealer in order to get that?

My winterproofing list is a bit longer.
-change washer fluid/check blades - I bought armourall ones and hate them btw (they are loud)
-oil/filter change (don't forget to check the cabin filter)
-rb oil cooler guards (save coolers from salt/rocks/ice that killed the old ones last year and hopefully reduce airflow)
-new coils (I'm getting some BHR coils next saturday)
-new spark plugs
-change led fogs back to oem (oem's run hot and melt the snow on the lens)
-winter dunlops go on
-oil gard ftw.
-I have a tiny battery so I installed a second battery in the trunk (kind of a failsafe)
-Winter rubber floor mats
*driving gloves
Winter driving really makes me want to get some proper gauges to monitor my temps, I use my cobb for now but I will probably end up getting an ashtray set up soon.
An infrared camera set up has also been discussed with a local member here and may be in the works in the new year.

Safe winter driving everyone, HAVE FUN!

Woops, forgot to follow up on this. Well, my friend's been gone on vacation all month, so I couldn't get all the details from him (like what product they use for the rustproof), but the place is called N1 Auto, at 63 Silver Star blvd (Midland / McNicholl area). They dont' advertise much, but the guys there said they'll do pretty much any maintenance stuff, on any Japanese cars. Prices seemed pretty fair.

Nice list Chad, you got some good stuff on there .... a lot more than I managed to do this year. XD
