I spoke with MAZDA Canada explained to them the story....they got back to me a while later and basically said "sorry cant help " and neither will the dealership bc i dont have enough credit with them???? What Credit do they want me to have? how many times should i bring in a car that has only 35k on it??? If i had credidt with them there would be a problem!
On another note the updated starter wont get changed by mazda either but i believe the newer models have it... i drove a friends '07 the other day and the starter sounds like its spinning a lot faster and the car started alot faster?

if all you've had to worry about is the dealer stinging you for $300 for a flood fix then you have gotten off easy. Al threee dealers here know me by my first name because my car spends so much time with them.

One Shot One Kill
there are other method of starting ur cars.. really.. look around.. push start, tow start, take the plugs out manual crank start, ETC. unlessu make over 100 bucks an hour, the dealer is never the solution.

There doesnt seem to be any thread for those of us who were STOOPID enough to buy an AT and have flooding issues. Anyone know of a good resolution to this for an auto? The manual solution is just plain ridiculous. My battery dies before I can get her cranked. It's REALLY beginning to **** me off.

there are tons of posts on this man... try searching. I take it you tried the deflooding procedure etc?
Think the common one was to remove the fuel pump fuse.. crank it acouple of times to remove the excess fuel.. put the fuse back and them give it a try (search for the exact procedure though 'cause I could be wrong). It's been awhile since I last looked at that stuff... I've never actually flooded my 7 or 8 before...
