ON AC compressor

Looking for an AC compressor. Anyone lightened their car, or written one off and can pull out the AC?

Yes, I would prefer that it be removed ensuring capturing the refrigerant.

Worried about the ozone layer?...or thinking you won't have to recharge yours
LOL

There is no way to retain any charge in the compressor when you remove it....there will be some oil in it..and you want it to be plugged to stay clean...but you will not get one pressurized so you can just add it to you car and have it work

The former. I know I won't get one charged, I just don't want one cut out of a car without it being evacuated.
