Hi everyone,
As with all RX-8, my OEM Cat. has die and it didn't help that the car was flooded when I took her out of storage = killing the Cat. even further!
So, now I'm looking for either,
BHR or RB Midpipe
OR
OEM Catalytic Converter
Please PM me if you have either of those in the GTA you want to sell.
Thanks!

My cat also died and am thinking of getting the BHR mid-pipe with cat.
My questions are:
1) Do I need the second O2 bung? Apparently the rx8 has two O2 sensors - before and after the cat...
2) With the BHR mid-pipe and cat, does it throw a CEL - anyone have any issues with the BHR midpipe? I currently am throwing a P042 code - either O2 sensor or CAT - I am suspecting CAT because of power loss sometimes when flooring it.
Thanks in advance

To answer your question to the best of my knowledge;
1) Yes it has a 2nd O2 sensor, No you don't need to replace it as it comes off much easier than the 1st sensor on the header.
2) BHR mid-pipe will throw a CEL, basically any mid-pipe without a proper Cat will throw a CEL. If you have a series I, you could clear this code permanently with a COBB.
There are many factors to loss of power; most ppl on this forum isolate the problem by process of elimination. Clogged Cat is one of the cheapest way to start. Others include coils+plugs+wires, clogged SSV, loss of vaccum....all the way up to loss of compression.
