This is a thread for the general 2017 DGRR for rotary owners. I created a custom shortened URL for the site. See next post and see you there in the Nanthala Village in Bryson City, NC.
No sir - it goes to this site and this thread only. I'd like to see everyone's collection of DGRR pictures and comments here on this site which is why I created a URL to this specific discussion.
It's only 3 characters shorter than the actual URL... lol

but easier to remember on my phone when I snap a picture of a 2017 NSX wrapped around a tree on US129 after he says "hold my beer and watch this stunt"....
The rotaries drivers will all be still enjoying spirited driving (driving fast in a slow car) and will return each night to enjoy the next.
We really need to watch out for those Mustangs - never mix Mustangs and coffee events.
Made it to Winston-Salem yesterday from Cincinnati - much rain and fog through WV and NC. I had an M3 follow me from Grayson, KY to NC border and we stopped for gas and got compliments on the RX-8. See you at DGRR on Wednesday night for the campfire.
Looking good. I'm headed out from Winston -Salem this afternoon and will take either US74 or jog up to take US19 into Bryson City. See you all soon at DGRR.

Pictures from along the route I picked today - fog and rain kept most but the hardy at bay in the morning. I saw more GS riders and 'Wings than rotaries until about 3 pm. Route details were: leave Bryson City, NC on 74W to NC28, NC143 to Tellico Plains, TN to stop at the Bakery for lunch, Vonore for gas, US411E to TN72E to NC28E back home. Roads were mine - a nice touch for weekday motoring.
I am in sloth mode this morning. I will likely drive NC28's southern route from NC and take some back roads into GA. I'll see you at the Damn Dam shoot.
