Canceling My Order

Canceling My Order
After all the problems with the American cars and the lack of information from Mazda I have decided to cancel my order and buy an Audi TT.
I went onto the website and the button for canceling seems to have disappeared in the last couple of days. I phoned the helpline and someone was supposed to ring me back that was six hours ago. This just adds to bad impression I have got of Mazdas customer service.
Anyway good luck to all those who are expecting their cars soon. I may still get an RX8 but sometime next year when I have seen and driven it.

2nd hand or low powered TT for same money, not best value for money either I am afraid. I have one for sale and most report are suggesting the 8 is the better (certainly more fun) car.
Understand your decision though (nearly did the same myself), hopefully you wil come back later.

Sorry to say, but I've driven the 225TT and I wasnt that impressed, quick for sure, but no feedback, point and go.
The 150 is niether quick nor 4 wheel drive, I dont understand, why not just buy a leon cupraR or something?

I've already had a Leon and fancied a convertible. The 150 TT can be chipped to give 220BHP for very little money. The delivery is so short because I bought the one from the showroom.
The first year depreciation is only 19% which should let me change to an RX8 next year without losing to much money.

There may be a few of us following in your footsteps if we don't get delivery dates in the next few days. (sadly)
I, personally, would have opted for the S2000 .... it's got a look about it that reminds me of the RX-8 and we all know it's quicker on the race track ....
BUT .... I need the back seats, so I'm sticking out for the more rare and just as much fun 8 ... for now anyway

I went to the Audi garage before going to see Mazda about the 8 to have one last look at the TT.
Although I knew I could get one quickly I just couldn't justify the price & was only getting 2 seats.
It makes the wait worthwhile for me knowing that there is nothing else out in the market place that does what the 8 does.
