Centre Console light fault
Anyone had the same fault with the illumination of the centre console area.
It's just stop working tonight - I've tried the dashboard illumination switch but this makes no difference.
Is it likely a fuse fault ?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Lucozade,
I have exactly the same fault. I did not have time over the weekend to take it back to the dealership, by simply tapping it should make it work, bit only as a tempory measure.

ta mate, mines self healed and hasn't came back since.
Not sure if it is something to do with moisture because the CD player has problem when there is a lot of condensation in the car.

Last night left work. Put the headlights on and drove off. I then decided to press the AMB button to find out the outside temp. Could I see the switch could I frick.
Waited till I arrived home and then tried to get the lights back on the console.
One thing which I did notice TOO was that the Radio volume was down low. A tune came on SL2 On a Ragga Tip and I wanted to blast it, I whacked volume up mto 25 and it was quiet so all the way to MAX and still not very loud. I decided at this point to switch the engine off and restart. It's at this point that the console was illuminated and the volume on the stereo was calibrated normally.
WEIRD!
