colour??
Just about to order my car and was wondering about colour. Just seen a red one which looked very nice - have also read elsewhere that the dark metallic grey is good. Was thinking about black though - opinions please ?!?

Honestly your best bet is to spend an hour or so surfing through this site, there are hundreds of pics posted here, also on the US section. The thread title should give a hint if there's pic there or not. Then you'll see what each colour looks like (the Mazda website is not a great indication and you'll be lucky to see a selection in the flesh / metal!!). Some of the pics on this site are great quality so you ought to get a good idea. Also the official US website (mazdaRX8.com) has some.
Its all pure personal taste though. But I dont know anyone who's ordered yellow.
Mine will be black, but must admit sometimes I wish I'd gone for the titanium or red. Red is usually a bit of an extrovert colour (although I also own a red Lotus Esprit!!) but the RX8 red is a darker and more tasteful shade. Silver or Grey is easier to keep clean.... but I think you need to see as many pics from as many angles as you can.

I'd start by loooking in the RX-8 Multimedia/Photo Gallery
https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/
Should be plenty for you to look at there.
And by the way, red is the best colour

I chose red back in Feb, and having seen it last week Im very happy.
Titanium is popular with a lot of people and also Silver and Black.
I dont recall any Europe members ordering Yellow or green as yet.
I have hundreds of pictures, mostly downloaded from this site, but remember not all pictures are a true representation of the colour, particularly with the red.
Dont order red as I dont want it to become too common :D

I'd only order black if you are the sort of person that loves to spend Sunday afternoon washing and polishing your baby as it's well known as being the hardest colour to keep clean (but well worth it if you can )
My missus had a go at me last weekend for spending 3 hours cleaning the car rather than spending time with her and the kids and so my choice is Titanium which I think looks great and will be the best for 'looking' clean even when it isn't .:D
