The Autobahn is fun enough if there is no 20km traffic jam. What city are you going to?
I checked out the website, it says you can drive on it yourself. It is only the Nordschleife though I think http://www.nuerburgring.de/Nordschleife.361.0.html there are also races to watch and other cool stuff. I wish I had thought of going there, looks really fun.
You can get an escort on the real track: http://www.nuerburgring.de/BMW-ring-taxi.352.0.html but that is about $250.
http://www.nuerburgring.de/home.324.0.html that should be the home page.
Have fun.

There are speed limits on the Autobahn if there is bad weather, heavy traffic, etc. They have electronic speed signs around the cities, so it is not too crazy that Bremen did that. In Austria they are 120.
Nonetheless, the Greens have to ruin all the fun I think they are the party that created the 155 mph governor on cars sold in Germany.

There is speed limits on the autobahn no matter what the weather is. There are just parts that are speed free and that is only when there are stretches of highways where there are no big cities.
For driving on the track you can drive on the old part of the track not the grand prix part. I've done 20 laps in my RX8 on the old part.
For the escort he was talking about the is the ring taxi and it is one of the newer M5's and one of the drivers of those cars is Sabine the female driver.

oh, lol^ my bad I have no clue where anything is in germany. when i get to pfaffenhausen from the munich train i say "RUF" and they get me there. it is the only thing in that city worthwhile basically.

Munich sounds right. It should be an easy trip, too bad you can't go on the ICE (high speed train) to Pfaffenhausen, that is always fun.
Once you get there though, you will notice that even if Pfaffenhausen is small, there are going to be a lot of towns close to each other.
Start a thread on this.
