Guages
Just love the additional guages on the car in the Singapore meet, take a look at this thread if you havent seen it....
http://www.rx8forum.com/showthread.p...threadid=10569
They look like they match the main guages well. Wonder what they all are?

By a company called Defi. I have some on order along with my kit - Mazdaspeed do their own kit which comprises three of the Defi gauges, with a pod mounted central on the dash (where the Sat Nav would be positioned).
I didn't realise there was an A-pillar mount available though, so might consider that, but the central location looks just as good.
Try http://www.defi-shop.com/ for some more info.

excuse my ignorance (i'm not a electritian or mechanic by any stretch of the imagination)
but would one of their systems be suitable for replacing the 'dummy' oil pressure dispay.
does the oil level relate directly to the oil pressure?

Most likely.
Like I said though, Mazdaspeed have produced their own pod/gauge kit using the Defi gauges, which I hope would interface with the RX-8 a lot easier, or at least contain RX-8 specific installation instructions.

Found the pic of the Mazdaspeed setup...
Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Water Temp... although I'm sure you could order your own gauges from Defi if you wanted to change that.
They all work off a central control unit, so you connect the sensors to a unit behind the dash, and then the gauges connect into the unit.

There was another one posted on here somewhere...center mount just like the MS pods, but more sculpted, like the Defi pods. It also looked like it simply snapped right over top the console. MS kit looks like some cutting is necessary...
