Talking Guess your delivery date

Let's try and guess the delivery date we will be given for our own cars. As an interim game we can play guess when we will get our delivery date letter!:p

I'm guessing November 24th as the date for my car and October 17th for the delivery date letter.

I'm hoping for somewhere before the7/8th of november, as its my wedding aniversary and would much like to be driving the 8 that weekend.

In all honesty, prolly 3rd or 4th week. got AL saved at work for the day/week

I am guessing 17th Nove for delivery date.

Purely as I need the car on the 15th, to drive up to my fathers 60th birthday party. As this will be our last journey "up north" before the baby is due (wife will be 33 weeks at this stage).

Although I would love to be surprised.

On Monday (when the car was ordered) I was told March 1st. On Tuesday I was told Feb. 10 minutes ago I had a phone call saying they might squeeze it into next months production and I should get the car no later than Jan...??

Hmmm, November production run, December shipping, January prep and delivery.....

End of Jan if your very lucky, based on past performance, expect end of Febuary.

I'm going to err a bit on the positive side of things about delivery date letter and say 10th October.

As to actual delivery, the 12th of November will be probable as that's the other halfs birthday so I will be expected to look after her requirements instead of entertaining myself with my new toy.

Surely they should invite all the early pre-orderers to Silverstone to personally collect their babies on the 27th October. Good PR and boy do those guys deserve to get their's first. Mazda ... Why don't you give anyone with an EP less than 100 the cars there?

Most optimistic yet - letter on 8th, mine on 13th due to crap postal service.
!st cars (including mine) on October 30th!

Slight element of wishful thinking, as I just spent £170 on brakes for the Audi, 0.5mm legal tread left on tyres and major service coming up....

I have faith. Dont know why, as I never received the last letter + brochure you lot seemed to get! Is there a prize for the closest?

Genuinely LOL!

What's the prize in this sweepstake?

I reckon letter 15th Oct and car 15th Nov.
(2003).

Bear in mind we won't all get them at the same time (cars that is) because of the port prep and dealer distances.

Yeah, but for a lot of them you'll be asleep, or working (or both)...

If my dealer info of handover of the 23rd Nov is correct (see my post in the delivery sticky) then I'm pretty close on my delivery date guess! I'm now guessing that we'll never get a letter with a confirmed delivery date from Mazda UK!
