Cheers Oilman
There's not many pictures of the rear or rear three-quarters going around, possibly because Mazda know that they haven't been quite as daring as they could have been with the back end.
It'd be nice to see what it's like in the vel red

Thanks Oilman, what more could I want from life other than some more Stella Artois and the thought of not having to be in work for 7am tomorrow.
Anyway, the critics have got it wrong, I'll take a back end like that any day!
Cheers

Glen,
Did you notice the shine and depth on that Velocity Red Mica in the Final Picture??
WOW!
If that's how it looks in cloud, I'm going to enjoy cloudy days!
Cheers

It's a deep blood red that those unlucky Americans are seldom going to see.
I still believe that this is the best colour as it accents the shape of the body sooo well. Black is not good as the black detailing doesn't show up. Silver is also poor as the alloys blend too much into the sides of the car. Titanium looks ok but I just feel for a car that looks as good as this one it's better to scream about it in some colour as spectacular as the V Red.
Cheers

I just noticed something, today is a good day for two reasons. Not only have I managed to order my RX-8, but I am no longer a 'junior'. It's a long way to go to become a senior but I do have 5 months.

Hate to add a sour note to the party, but:
Don't you think it's odd that in the latest brochure they STILL haven't nailed the weight and mpg? Time is ticking and you'd think they'd finalised it by now. Never mind, it didn't stop me ordering a 'Winning Blue' car this morning. All you guys (and guyesses) in vel red examples passing my poor Rover 214 all autumn will sorely try my patience but it's blue for me!
