Well done Ash, you must be pleased that its the end of the experience for you.
No excuse not to join the RX8 Owners Club now, in fact you could be the only one eligible in reality:D
Cheers

Anyone live near Immingham who can pop down there and see how many RX8's are in their car storage facility?
Ro-ro
Immingham is the UK’s largest east coast ro-ro port, handling over eight million tonnes of ro-ro cargo a year. With over 50 sailings a week to ports in northern European and Scandinavia, it is the second busiest ro-ro port in the UK. Daily sailings – including ferry services operated by Cobelfret, DFDS Tor Line, Eimskip and Samskip – put a European market of over 170 million people within 24 hours’ reach of the port, while incoming cargoes can reach 60 per cent of the UK population within four hours. Immingham is also a major centre for vehicle imports.
Under future phases of development of Humber International Terminal, facilities for up to five stern and side-port ramp vessels will be provided.
Ro-ro customers at Immingham benefit from:
daily ferry services to major European markets
simultaneous berthing for eight ro-ro vessels at two four-berth terminals
a purpose-built facility for heavy/out-of-gauge cargoes
on-going investment in ro-ro facilities
cargo consolidation facilities for transhipment traffic
specialist railheads connected to the ro-ro terminal
over 100 acres of high-quality parking areas in specialist terminal equipped with closed-circuit television security systems
first-class vehicle reception areas

ashk,
I am really interested in the quality of the Mazda interior. I commented upon this to Mazda marketing the day after I test drove the car (Sept 14th at Mazda Bookham) I said that I thought the leather looked a little cheap and already showed signs of 'wear n tear' He claimed that they were 'pre-production' hand made cars, and that they would be different to the ones delivered in November. I would really aprreciate your feedback...

According to the salesman there who's looking after RX-8 pre-orders, it was hand-built and was a little shoddily put together in places. I doubt the press treat these cars very kindly either; no doubt they've been abused in all sorts of unspeakable ways.
