Rx8 review(ish) on Auto Mundial, Sky-men and motors
I just happend to change channels and caught an RX8 review - if you can call it that!
They showed a few mins of footage of the Rx8 concept and then showed video that was obviously from Mazda Japan.
In short, there comments were:
1. Engine good for size and smoothness, great revver, but you've got to work it hard as theres no torque.
2. Missing B pillar gives the car scuttle shake.
3. Body roll is too much.
If I didn't know better I'd say "Auto Mundain" had read out the Autocar test from a few weeks ago!
It's probably going to be repeated for the next few days - note the "review" immediately starts in part 2.
Only good thing was that the Mazda footage showed RX8's in red, black, silver and titanium.
Lets hope we get some propper reviews soon!

I've watched auto-mundial quite a few times. Don't really rate it that much and i tend to disagree with a lot of what they say.
It often seems their reports are cobbled together from info gained by other people/reports in an effort to be the first tv report or something like that. Probably true about reading autocar report, and maybe some other stuff, but you do get the feeling they don't drive half of the cars they 'review' (or if they do, it's someone who doesn't have a clue)
There are about a million better review programmes we should take more seriously.

Personally I think Auto Mundial is worse than AutoCAR the footage seems cobbled together from manufacturers publicity videos.
The commentary is poor and seems like the motoring section in local papers, copied word for word from the car brochure and other reviews of the car.
I have a big Post It stuck to my TV for pulling power and my Sky box tuned to ITV London.
