TOP GEAR SURVEY - EVO vs SCOOBY
Anyone see Top gear last night ?
EVO VIII vs SCOOBY STi
Nothing between it except stig almost beat the Zonda round the track.
If given the choice which would you choose a scooby or a EVO ?
I know most of you like me would rather slit there throats that run around in either of these but this isnt a perfect world so hypothetically which would you have?

Biased opinion as Ive got one (STi) and seem to be one of the few here who like AWD rally specials.
Having driven both Evos and Scoobys, the Evo is the ultimate for handling and the track but the Scooby is much better day to day and has more character IMHO.
For info, the new Impreza STi is also known as the STi8 so morgan you are OK to like it now.

I only like cars that end in '8'...

Neither for me, very obvious aggresive styling and not all all nice to look at. Cannot argue with the performance though.
To keep this tread in-topic would just say that I much prefer the look of the 8 and am sometimes suprised that those buying the 8 would even consider them as they seem worlds apart as cars.

Evo. The performace is really close, and the Evo is a good deal cheaper. Plus, the Subaru hood bulge just looks absurd, and you can get the Evo from the factory with a small subtle wing instead of the big ricey one.
Also, I wish they'd kept the big "EVOLUTION" sign on the back of the trunk like the J-spec Evos have.
